On Friday 24th November 2017 we were delighted to handover the new Heanor Memorial Health Centre to Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust.
Prem Singh, chairman of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust, is pictured accepting keys from our Site Manager, Piers Austin.
The project was completed on time and to budget. The total cost of the project is around £3.5 million, incorporating not just the building costs but all the associated costs of fitting out, preparing and opening the new building ready for patient care.
The new building, on Ilkeston Road, Heanor includes purpose designed consulting rooms and treatment rooms and will open its doors for patient care on the 11th December 2017. Over the next two weeks, Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust with the assistance of A&S, will be busy moving in and familiarising themselves with the new building.
We would like to thank the client, Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust together with the design team of Frank Shaw Associates, Collins Hall Green and EP Consulting for offering us this opportunity together with the local community who we hope will benefit from the centre for many years to come.
